Women Lawyer Empowerment Retreat
We are the change.
Awaken To Your Power - Own Your Purpose
Do you feel like the practice of law is an uphill battle and struggle to balance your life and practice?
Do you have the feeling that you could be doing more to be a better lawyer?
Do you want to let go of what others expect and step into embracing your own power?
Do you want to learn voice techniques that will train you to be more authoritative and persuasive in every speaking situation?
It’s Time For Change - Be Your Own Hero
Begin the journey of discovering your deepest feminine power, passion, and purpose.
Join a small group of female lawyers in an intimate setting for support, guidance, and inspiration to practicing law in a different way — a way that helps you to let go of fears, to step out of expectations of others, and to embrace your own authentic power, voice and truth. Come remember why you are called to be a lawyer and embrace doing it your way. At the same time, learn some of the most powerful ways to use your uniqueness in and out of the courtroom.
This Retreat is Perfect for You if You Are:
- Desiring a way to let go of fear and allow excitement to fuel your practice
- Ready to discover a different way to practice law that brings awareness, presence, and authenticity to everything you do.
- Excited to break-through old limiting patterns and beliefs and step into who you really want to be in and out of the courtroom
- Ready to have a plan for yourself instead of merely reacting to what is happening around you
You are not alone. WTLC is a community of women who are embracing their true power and purpose and creating change in how we practice law. This group, and this retreat, is designed for ALL women lawyers. It does not matter if you represent plaintiffs, defendants, businesses, individuals, or groups. We do not care what field you are in. Nor do we care whether you’re solo, big law, or somewhere in between. These techniques work for all women lawyers.
Step Into Your Power and You Will:
- Understand your unique power and how to use it.
- Let go of what is expected and become centered and confident in who you are.
- Know how to instantly shift your emotional and mental state to a mindset for power performance for increased productivity, focus and clarity
- Develop your “warrior” mindset and tune into the power of courage to create big wins in your practice of law
- Instantly find the solution to your biggest challenges – from difficult clients to difficult cases – by training your brain for creative problem solving
- Know how to use your Voice for change
- Discover the power to stop simply reacting to life and begin designing it with a vision instead
- Learn to combine the power of breath and the body with the power of your brain to tap for powerful presence and performance in and out of the courtroom
- Create a mindset to easily combat stress, worry, and anxiety
- Learn to think and act from the power of purposeful stillness
Retreat Highlights
Nestled in the beautiful Osage hills just north of Tulsa, Post Oak Lodge provides a quiet place to escape the business of life. Our indoor meeting space is full of light and provides a comfortable place to try new techniques for being, speaking, and learning.
We will provide chef-made meals including Friday dinner (and happy hour!), Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.
Since all women should have a room of one’s own, you’ll be provided a recently renovated hotel-quality room to yourself with a Queen bed. We will have the Executive Lodge to ourselves with a central living area and kitchen.
We’re planning live entertainment one evening and a girls’ movie & popcorn pajama party the second. Because girls just want to have fun. . .
During the day, we will use experiential learning activities, group work, and individual work sessions to learn how to be focused and present, to use breath and voice for persuasion, and to reflect on where we are and where we’re going.
You’ll take home guided practice and reflection exercises, daily mindset practices, recordings of guided meditations, and written materials about power and persuasion for future reference. You’ll also be provided exclusive access to an online private community to provide you continuing connection, support and sharing.
