We are so proud and excited to let you know that our very own Laurie Koller has been named President of Oklahoma Association for Justice. This is an incredible honor. Laurie will lead the trial lawyers in protecting the rights of injured Oklahomans.
Oklahoma Association for Justice (OAJ) is a bar association committed to protecting the rights of the people. For over 76 years, OAJ has worked hard to preserve Oklahoman’s constitutional rights to a civil jury trial and to level the playing field for victims.
OAJ fights to uphold a fair and effective justice system, and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to protect the people. Their goal is to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in Oklahoma’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests. OAJ mentors and educates young lawyers so that Oklahomans will continue to have access to competent counsel. OAJ promotes social connections between Plaintiffs’ trial lawyers so that lawyers can lean on each other as a resource when questions arise. OAJ also promotes high-quality educational seminars to share best practices.
Laurie is thrilled to have been recognized by her peers to take on this job. It takes all of us working together to make sure that our democracy functions for all people – OAJ is a part of that effort.
If you know a lawyer who would benefit from OAJ, please let them know about our organization or contact Koller Trial Law today.
